For years, the Indian men's grooming space was dominated by two extremes. International brands priced for foreign markets and formulated for foreign climates. And products with standard formulas that addressed the surface but never the root cause.
Neither was built for what Indian men actually face. The hard water that strips your scalp in most Indian cities. The UV intensity that damages hair year-round. The stress-related greying that is now hitting men in their mid-twenties. The pollution that accumulates on skin and in follicles every single day.
We saw a clear gap between what was available and what Indian men genuinely needed. Closing that gap, with the right science, the right ingredients and the right price, is the entire reason KT Men exists.
The science behind KT Men is not new. We started it after 8 years of earning trust.
KT Professional launched in 2018 with one clear goal: to build India's first salon-approved, keratin-powered haircare brand designed specifically for Indian hair. Across 28 states, 18 distinct hair challenges and a dozen different climates, none of which imported brands had ever studied or addressed.
The brand grew through results. Salon by salon. Customer by customer. Formulation by formulation. When something did not meet the standard, it went back to the lab. Of every 60 products developed, only 3 reach the shelf.
That standard, performance before visibility, science before scale, is the foundation KT Men is built on. Eight years of learning what Indian hair needs, now channelled into what Indian men have always deserved.

KT stands for Kehairtherapy. The science is rooted in one biological fact: 90% of your hair is made of keratin protein. Daily exposure to pollution, UV radiation, heat and stress progressively depletes that protein. Hair becomes structurally weaker, thinner and duller over time, not through neglect, but through unaddressed biology.
KT Professional spent years developing keratin-first formulations for Indian hair specifically, studying how it responds to hard water, humidity, coastal air and temperature extremes across the country. What imported brands offered was designed for different conditions entirely.
KT Men extends this science into the full spectrum of men's grooming. Every ingredient has a defined role. Every formula is tested to a standard that only 3 in 60 products ever meet.
We did not want to build a brand. We wanted to build a standard.
Dhruv Sayani's entry into haircare came from a personal experience, premature greying in his early twenties and a realisation that the products available to him were not designed for his hair or his conditions. That gap became a decade-long commitment to understanding what Indian hair actually needs.
He launched KT Professional in 2018 with a single conviction: that Indians deserved science-backed haircare formulated for Indian conditions, accessible at a price that matched the market. He spent 18 months studying 18 distinct hair challenges across the country, building a network of 150+ technical educators and grounding the brand in salon-level insight before it reached retail.
The brand grew without advertising because the products earned repeat customers. That discipline, earning scale through performance rather than chasing it through spend, is the principle that shapes everything KT builds, including KT Men.
